This is the second most popular finishing method. It involves coating the printed side with a layer of lacquer using screen printing techniques or an anilox roll on lacquer coater machines. The lacquer layer is fixed using UV light, forming a durable structure. Glossy UV lacquer is the most popular coating. Lacquer can be applied to paper, cardboard and plastics. It is applied to highlight the print and protect it against rubbing off and moisture. The UV lacquer can be applied both on the whole surface and locally. The lacquer is used most commonly on leaflets, folders, catalogues, calendars, packaging and magazine covers. The minimum guaranteed quantity of lacquer is 6 g/m2, which gives a high-quality layer.
The lacquer used by us contains finishing materials that allows for further processing of coated surfaces (e.g. it does not crack when bent). Additionally, we can print scratch cards, coat with special lacquers such as glitter, gold or silver, as well as textured, scented and blister coatings. We can cooperate in the production of envelopes by applying glue on the flap, which becomes adhesive when wet.
Our company has three independent UV coating lines, including two full-scale ones. This gives us vast technical and manufacturing capabilities in print finishing. They give us the flexibility to respond effectively our customers' needs.
We always provide top quality and short deadlines.
Scratch card - a printing technique, which consists of coating the print with a protective layer, making it illegible until scratched off (hence the name). The layer covers a code or a symbol, which cannot be seen until the protective coating is scratched off. Scratch cards are used in lotteries, newspaper contests and supermarket chains.
The Multifol company applies the scratch-off coat on provided printed lottery coupons. The coating can be applied by screen printing or hot stamping. Screen printing scratch-off paints are available in gold and silver colours. The screen printing paint is highly opaque and meant to be used on offset-printed sheets (lottery tickets). It can be easily removed using a coin or a fingernail. The coating can be easily removed within one year from printing. Hot-stamped scratch-off films can be additionally ornamented to prevent the code underneath from being read.

UV coating properties:
Even, smooth, shiny or matte surface.
Application:
Przydatność farb drukarskich do lakierowania:
Dodatki drukarskie:
Podłoża:
Naddatek materiału (nadmiarowe arkusze do przeprowadzenia testów) W każdym przypadku należy zapewnić pewną ilość zadrukowanych arkuszy do lakierowań próbnych.
